After all, as you go through 2023, things in your life will change. Continue to focus on your resolution but without expectations of everything going perfectly.

Just because Jan. 1 is the first day of 2023 doesn’t mean that’s when you need to start working on your resolution. As an example, perhaps you’re going to work for a new company. Maybe you’re scheduled for surgery. Regardless of the situation, start the resolution process at a time that’ll help you succeed.
Keep Track of Your Progress
First, don’t write things every day. As with the weight loss scenario, you’re not going to see a difference every time you step on the scales. A better idea is to set weekly or bi-weekly milestones. Then, journal your progress. As you look at each milestone, you’ll see how far you’ve come.

Remember the Past but Focus on the Future
