The Golf Course
This par 70 course offers a fun and challenging game for both beginners and regular players alike. Fox Run was designed by Leon Howard, a golf course architect who has made a tremendous imprint on the game with a long list of courses around the country, including a high concentration in the Southwest. The 18-hole course covers 6,223 yards from its longest tees, and once you tee up, you’ll be driving, chipping, and putting across Kentucky Blue, Rye, and Tall Fescue grass.
The Pro Shop
Before your tee time, you can stop by the pro shop to stock up on the essentials. From golf balls to clubs and gloves, you can find the basics in the course’s pro shop, and you can also learn about any men’s and women’s golf associations that might be open to new members. If you’re new to the game or know someone who’s just getting started, feel free to ask about golf lessons as well.
Location and Tee Times
Fox Run Golf Course is located at 1109 Susan Avenue, Gallup New Mexico 87301. They offer tee times for up to four players throughout the day. Tee times generally start at 8:30 a.m. until 5:30 p.m. The course makes it easy to reserve tee times and carts through their online scheduler.
