Has the spring weather been calling you into the great outdoors? Did you watch the Masters earlier this month and feel the urge to hit the links? You don’t have to go far for a good game of golf, because the Fox Run Golf Course is waiting for you to tee up right here in Gallup!
The Course
Fox Run features wide open fairways of Rye, Tall Fescue, and Kentucky Blue grass. Golf course architect Leon Howard designed the 18-hole course, which runs more than 6,200 yards from the farthest tees. With sparse trees and an approachable 117 slope rating, the course lets you open up with big, bold drives in pursuit of its 70-stroke par.
Stock Up at the Pro Shop
Did you forget something on the way to the course? The onsite pro shop carries a variety of supplies by trusted names in case you need to replenish your cache of golf balls. If it’s been a while since you’ve played and you want to get a grip on your club without sore palms, you can also pick up gloves, while a selection of polos and golf shoes is available as well.
Membership
If you’d like to become a member at the course, Fox Run has annual and monthly membership rates for a variety of player preferences and age groups. There are also golf associations welcoming new members, so remember to inquire at the pro shop.

Fox Run Golf Course is located a7 1109 Susan Avenue, Gallup, New Mexico 87301. Hours can change, but the course is typically open Monday through Saturday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The driving range may open earlier, except on Thursdays, when it opens at 11 a.m. You can book a tee time via their signup form.
